Today we dig into the nature and role of oaths in covenant life. Scripture often uses the word “oath” to summarize the whole of a covenant, but we may not encounter many oaths these days. In our conversation, we try to recover some sense of an oath’s meaning and gravity, as well as what an oath that God Himself took means for our faith and life today.
